An afternoon at the Southbank Centre

Last week we spent a sunny afternoon at the Southbank Centre and wanted to share some of our snaps. With a beautiful view of the city across the water, a number of great food venders and a charming roof garden, the Southbank is a lovely place to send an evening in the sunshine.

If you fancy adding a little extra culture you can visit some of the installations provided by artists and creatives include Jeppe Hein’s 'Apearing Rooms' water fountain, an interactive structure that creates spaces using walls of water that disappear as quickly as they emerge. Alongside the complex aluminium structure 'Ventricle', by the New York based design studio SOFTlab, now installed in the Royal Festival Hall.

If you haven't visited yet this summer it's definitely worth a trip!

Until next time...
